AiRO is excited to introduce AiRO Digital Aero Twin Technology into our bike fit protocols.
This innovative system allows us to create a precise 3D model of an athlete from photos and a few measurements using a rigged parametric human model. This model can be adjusted to simulate different postures, and the airflow around the rider is accurately simulated through advanced CFD.
Wind tunnel-validated, developed by experts and used by world champions, AiRO simulations provide invaluable aerodynamic insights, turning around results in minutes and at a fraction of the cost of traditional wind tunnel testing. This technology enables us to optimize a cyclist’s position for maximum speed and efficiency, addressing the largest resistance competitive cyclists face: aerodynamic drag.
AiRO is a US-based C-corp dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology that empowers bike fitters to enhance athlete performance. It was founded by former Specialized Bicycles aerodynamics lead and U.S. Olympic Team Sports Science Coach of the Year Ingmar Jungnickel, together with his former Specialized colleague Konstantin Usachev, an experienced software systems developer.
